I've just spent 3 hours getting a hit counter working on my site! I wish php was easier to troubleshoot, and more standardised. The final problem was some variables wanted "$variable" whereas others don't need the quotes. Scripts found on the net don't seem to work straight off and I've had to move through the whole script checking each variable to see if it works! Anyway..... the hit counter now works. I was planning to put some downloads on there but I'm taking a break now :)
